TEACHING

My goal in teaching is to stimulate students’ interest in subject matter and build their academic skills and confidence in themselves and the subject. I encourage students to both learn by instruction and learn by discovery. I have made substantial curriculum contributions, fostered a positive learning environment for my students, and grounded my decisions in educational research with constant self-evaluation.
